Hi! Sorry this is a bit late…
For what I’ve seen, summer (so july is perfect) is a special time to go because there are many Filipino gatherings and activities. They have their own version of Barrio Fiesta. Lots of Filipinos go there, so you can maybe check it out. I’m also gonna go back to Austria this July for another creative workshop for Filipino youth. Maybe you can give me your e-mail address so I can refer you to the contacts I know You can also visit this website: http://www.pinas-first.com they probably know more than I do

I was searching about Filipinos in Austria on the web and saw your blog. Do you mind if i ask about the filipinos you know that I may need to know too in time. My fiance is an Austrian, I will visit him in July and see his place for the first time. He is worried I might not like his place when we start to live together since there is not much Filipinos in Salzburg (where he resides)unlike here in the UAE so we decided that i go on a visit and decide for myself. hahaha
i thank you though for this blog, it is making me link to more sites of filipinos in austria.

and btw, i am a nurse too.

Kaya idol kita eh. *salutes* Now I know why your family left our country. I wish I was like you, an individual who fights for something. To know that you’re here for a certain purpose, that would suffice. Right now, I don’t know what I could do to pull through this country from utter damnation. It’s tough to have this “scholar of the Philippines” tag; the responsibility intensified with the idea that the country’s money was squandered on us — the people who study for money, not for the country itself.
